A detailed Presentation was given to Project Director Dr. Tariq Hayat By PTP Senior Management

On 31/5/2024, a detailed presentation was given to Dr. Tariq Hayat Sab, the Project Director of PTP KP, by Dr. Akhtar Hussain, the Senior Provincial Program Officer, in the presence of PTP Senior Management. The presentation covered the provincial profile, TB burden in Pakistan and KP, targets vs. achievement of PTP KP, diagnostic and curative services in the province, human resource status, and implementation of parallel interventions such as active case finding, LHW intervention, TB preventive therapy, and PPM activities at the district level. Timely data entry and follow-up in DHIS II and data validation were also discussed, along with the roles and responsibilities of DTOs. The Project Director expressed concern about TB missing cases in the province, low case detection rate (CDR), low contact tracing, and TPT initiation. He directed PTP management to take prompt action to address the issues.
