World TB Day 2023 commemorated at Khyber Medical University Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 17th March 2023.
The Advisor to Chief Minister for Health Dr. Abid Jameel Sahib was the Chief Guest, along with Secretary Health, Director General Health, Vice Chancellor Khyber Medical University, Head of the WHO Sub-office KP, Ex-DG Dr Niaz Muhammad, Additional Secretary Health, Director Public Health, Cheif Health Planning & Development, ADG's and other program Directors from the Health Department & participants from other departments. In addition, Mercy Corps, Association for Community Development, Green Star, MALC, USAID, Dopasi Foundation, & Media Personnel graced the occasion.
The theme for Year 2023 YES.. WE CAN END TB was spread to the audience, along with key messages to prevent & control TB disease in the community through masses and continuous efforts of the Media.
